Mark Zacapa grew up in Tegucigalpa, Honduras, surrounded by bold colors, rich textures, and a culture of exceptional craftsmanship. Inspired by the beauty of his country, he pursued a career in architecture, graduating from Clemson University and launching his own firm shortly thereafter. His work was always guided by a passion for purposeful design, blending form, function, and a commitment to excellence.
In 2011, Mark ventured into a new kind of creative project: he founded a manufacturing company focused on men’s clothing. What began as a small production venture quickly evolved into a trusted manufacturing partner for brands around the world.
In 2016, Mark & Company was born from a desire to bring that same level of craftsmanship, intention, and quality to a local audience. Together with a small team of creatives, they spent years sourcing the finest fabrics, assembling a group of highly skilled artisans, and perfecting their craft. The brand first gained recognition for its best-selling Classic Woven Sport Shirt, and has since expanded its offerings to include sweaters, polo shirts, denim, lounge pants, and more.
